Reneé Kaehny

Along with Mike, my best friend and husband of almost 25 years and our daughter Shannon we opened Rituals Colour Salon in 2007. Our goal was to raise the bar in terms of beauty in our community and to hire and grow the most talented team of awesome stylists, makeup artists and skincare experts.

I have a passion for my family and friends, the beauty industry, art, the environment, a true love of people and the desire to give back, I love the beauty industry and what we can do to make a difference in the lives of the people we touch on a daily basis and around the world. Rituals gives us the opportunity to grow and nurture the future beauty professionals and create a vehicle to give back to the community at large. "We make a beautiful difference in this world because we care, create and inspire” is a mantra in our salon and I believe the amazing humans I get to work with everyday make the world a better place and I just adore them.

One of the things I love most about walking into Rituals is seeing my team and our guests having fun, laughing and being just great friends to one another. They help and teach each other and are a true team. It truly reflects on how the guests feel when they walk in and feel they are part of our family, and they are! We all make a difference every day, positive or negative - what will we choose? My goal is to do my best to make it a beautiful day!

I have been playing with my girlfriend’s hair and makeup since I was young, and just love making people look and feel good with my art. I have been a hairstylist for over 25 years. I’ve trained with AVEDA and at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. I’ve have traveled across the country and abroad to be the very best I can be and I continue to learn and love what I do more and more each day. I am so fortunate to have many great friends and mentors in the industry to help me along the way.

I grew up in Southern California and just can’t get enough of the surf, sun and sand, which is where you will find me any opportunity that I have or cruising with my husband in our 63 Ranchero to some rockabilly event or car show.

Sami Judd

Sami Judd is Rituals amazing esthetician where she graduated valedictorian from the Aveda Institute in Denver, Colorado. Sami’s time at the Aveda institute is well shown in her 60 minute facials and with her mini massage techniques. Through her hard work and dedication as an esthetician she is passionate about doing but what else, facials! Whether the skin ranges from problematic acne to fine lines and wrinkles, Sami will diagnose the dilemma and put her skills to work on anyone.

Hope Zendejas

Hope Zendejas is a seven year veteran to the world of cosmetology and has been a part of the Rituals team since the doors opened. As the lead cutting educator for the salon, she works with interns to help them develop their skills as the future of Rituals Colour Salon. Her passion for education carries over to her guests, giving them ability to recreate their new style at home. Though a well rounded stylist, Hope especially enjoys and specializes in precision cutting and up-styling for all occasions; from formal to avant-garde.

Shannon Powers

Shannon Powers has over seven years of experience in the beauty industry. Shannon has been a team member at Rituals salon since the day it opened and has been working with Aveda for over four years now. She is the lead colour educator as well as one of the Mentor Stylists of the salon. She also received the award of "Best Hairstylist" of Santa Clarita. Shannon attends training seminars and hair shows across the country to further her education and to learn upcoming trends. Shannon is very passionate about Aveda's products and company. Although she loves all aspects of hair, Shannon loves colour as well as colour placement, colour correction, blow dries.

Angie Ramos

Angie Ramos has been with Rituals Colour Salon since day one and has over seven years in the beauty industry. Angie’s enthusiasm for education and dedication to being the most amazing stylist has earned her the title one of Rituals Mentor stylists. Angie has traveled across the country for advanced cutting classes with Aveda to continue her education within her field of work, and continuously strives to share her knowledge while training our team. One of Angie’s specialties is gorgeous blondes, bright natural placement of colour as well as fun and creative hair and beautiful blow-dries.

Megan McCarthy

Megan McCarthy graduated from Vidal Sassoon Academy. Megan loves precision hair cutting which includes anything from bobs to pixies. She is great with all types of blonde hair and loves any chance she can get at being creative. Megan is one of the teams Mentor stylists and is very passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping with the continued education within the salon.

Megan’s passion for hair is greatly shown in the quality of work that is portrayed through her guests.

Nicole Peris

Nicole Peris is a graduate of Paul Mitchell-The School. Her true passion lies in creating the perfect colour to meet a diverse array of her guests needs. Nicole also prides herself in being a meticulous Master stylist where she perfects bobs, A-line cuts and loves a voluminous and smooth blowdry.

Not to mention she is diverse in reds, blondes and brunettes. She also loves doing natural looking highlights, lowlights, fine foil work and even fun techniques such as colour melting and chandeliering.

Monica Kreitzman

Monica Kreitzman is a graduate of Paul Mitchell Academy. She started her career at Rituals Colour Salon through hard work and education and has quickly grown into a highly demanded stylist. Her passion and care show in making each and every one that is seated in her chair feel great about themselves. Monica is passionate about creating new cuts and colours designed to fit what is right for each specific person.

Kelly McHugh

Kelly McHugh is a graduate from Paul Mitchell-The School. Kelly takes great joy in making every guest look and feel amazing when they leave the salon. Her dedication to her career is shown greatly through her hard work and drive as a hair stylist. A few of her specialties include perfecting dimensional colour, she loves all varieties of colour in general and loves working with long hair.

Team Rituals participated in L.A. Fashion Week and the Eco Media Awards creating gorgeous, trendsetting hair and make-up as well as their own annual Earth month Eco Fashion Show. As an Aveda Lifestyle salon, our team strives to be the very best our industry has to offer, all of our Hairstylists have extensive training in the full range of: Aveda hair colour system and creative colouring techniques, NXS extension certified, Brazilian Blowout, In salon botanical hair and scalp treatments, Complete knowledge of Aveda hair, skin and body products, Stress relieving rituals, Current seasonal hair colour and culture techniques.

Lindsay, Lori, Brittany

Rituals friendly and fabulous guest relations team consists of Lindsay Munson, Brittany Bobb and Lori Machado here to greet you warmly, take care of your every need and make sure your visit exceeds your every expectation. Guest relations are our Aveda product experts as well and are here to assist you in selecting the best take home products to maintain your hair and skin.

Intern Team

Rituals intern team are the up and coming talent of the salon, they are licensed professionals realizing the need to further their education and are striving to be the very best in our industry. The intern team is our support and is fully trained to take care of any guests styling needs and is the massage and shampoo envy of the Santa Clarita Valley.
